It is to pursue sustainable management by eliminating harmful factors that may cause potential diseases and accidents while performing the Company's business activities and preventing environmental pollution.
Paju Energy Service recognizes safety, health, and environmental management as the core values of corporate management and has established policies to achieve an accident-free workplace by safely protecting employees, partners, and stakeholders from potential accidents at workplace.
We have conducted preventive activities for on-site accidents based on 4M (i.e., Man, Machine, Management, and Media) such as fire, explosion, leakage, and oil leakage.
Paju Energy Service has established the safety golden rules that all members must adhere to by analyzing major causes of each business. By continuously checking compliance with each rule and creating a culture that strictly sanctions violations without exception, we have greatly contributed to improving the level of SHE awareness of members and workers at partner companies.
The safety program participated by members has been implemented at Paju Energy Service to form a safety culture.
Paju Energy Service has been actively participating in the accident-free movement organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, leading to an accident-free workplace.
Paju Energy Service has implemented well-organized environmental management activities to bring results from environmental management and has transparently disclosed the current status and performance every year.
Paju Energy Service has installed a Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS)
to measure and monitor concentration of emitted environmental pollutants in real time. Additionally, we are connected online with the Korea Environment Corporation's control center to monitor the emission status 24 hours a day.
To reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions, a low-NOx burner and a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) facility were installed in the boiler. In particular, power plants located in the metropolitan area are designated as places of business with a total amount of air pollutants set according to the law (Special Act on the Improvement of Air Quality in the Metropolitan Area); thus, they are being managed more strictly by setting stronger standards.
