As an effort to reinforce energy-saving policy
and comply to UNFCCC and Kyoto Protocol, the Korean
government has set a policy that makes energy
diagnosis mandatory for heavy energy consumers.
Starting from January 2007, those who consume more than 2,000 TOE per annum are required to
conduct energy diagnosis in every 3 to 5 years by qualified institution such as Busan City Gas.
