Gas Fields/Liquefaction PlantVertically integrated business of extracting gas, removing impurities, liquefying, storing and loading.

TransportationTransporting LNG by using ocean-going LNG Carrier, operated mainly through long-term chartering, to the receiving terminal in importing countries. As global LNG trade has grown considerably, the size and capacity of LNG carriers has increased.

LNG Receiving TerminalReceiving LNG tankers, unloading, storing, regasifying and feeding gas into the national transmission network. This facility is required to secure for enhancing operational reliability and expanding demand.

Power Generation/CHP GenerationRegasified LNG is delivered and used as fuel for power generation and CHP (Combined Heat and Power) generation.

The LNG vessel is a highly sophisticated technical vessel with a specially designed cargo containment system in order to keep cargo at very low temperatures as low as minus 162°c. SK E&S is building LNG carriers to tranport LNG from the Freeport liquefaction facility.

Boryeong LNG Terminal

SK E&S is in collaboration with GS Energy building LNG Terminal in Boreong-city, Chuncheongnam-do Province. Boryeong LNG Regasfication Terminal is in commecial operation with four 2,000,000kl storage tank from 2017. Boryeong LNG Terminal is owned by SK E&S and GS Energy 50:50 in shares in which the former has rights for 2 million tons of capacity and latter for 2 million tons of capacity.
